Healthy snacking is not only good for your body, but great for your teeth.  In the past two decades, cavities have increased in young children – it is believed that the frequency of sugar consumption is the cause!  Insist that your child consume snacks without sugar added, and leave the sugars to mealtimes only.  Healthy snacks such as cheese, fresh fruit, and whole grain crackers are best!  At your next visit to our office, ask us how to establish a healthy snacking routine for your child!
