Dr. Brent Johnson is a native of Lincoln, NE and graduated With Distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2004, after completing six years of active duty service in the United States Navy. Following dental school, he earned a certificate in pediatric dentistry and master’s degree in dentistry from Columbus (Ohio) Children’s Hospital and Ohio State University in 2006. Dr. Johnson then returned to Lincoln, entering private practice as an associate dentist. In the fall of 2008, Dr. Johnson opened Pediatric Dentistry, P.C., a practice with an emphasis on providing oral health care in a comfortable, age-appropriate atmosphere.
Dr. Johnson is a Diplomate of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been active in the the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is a part-time clinical instructor in the pediatric dentistry graduate program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, a member of the Craniofacial Team for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, and volunteers with many organizations including the Southeast Community College and Clinic With A Heart.
Dr. Johnson is married and has two children. Born and raised as a "Cornhusker", Dr. Johnson graduated from the University of Kansas with an undergraduate degree. And although he was a dedicated Jayhawk for many years, he now considers himself a full-time 'Husker. Dr. Johnson enjoys exercising, music, and spending time with his family.
